Briefe und Mails von und über Lupata
Die Mosaikschule pflegt seit einigen Jahren eine Patenschaft zur "Lupata Sch" in Zambia, die mithilfe unseres nun im Ruhestand agierenden Schulpsychologen Arnold Evertz ins Leben gerufen wurde.
Nachstehend sind einige Briefe, Mails und Berichte abgedruckt, die direkt von der Lupataschule kommen bzw. von Herrn Evertz an uns gesandt wurden.
Liebe Frau Kirsten, liebe Freunde an der Mosaikschule!
Diesen Brief der Lupata Sch(ule) sende ich gerne an euch weiter. Es hat Spaß gemacht an der Lupata Schule. Die spürbare Entwicklung dort zu sehen und sagen zu können, das sie auch mit unserer/eurer Partnerschaft zu tun hat, ist sehr erfreulich. Das ROOM to READ Programm ist eine Aktion der Bill Gates Stiftung, die Schulen mit Büchern im Klassenraum und in einer kleinen Bücherei unterstützt. Die Lupataschule hat sich dafür als erste im Bezirk qualifiziert.
Ich werde mich bald nach meiner Rückkehr am 08.12. melden, um einen Schulbesuch auszumachen.

Dear friends,
I hope you are all well and enjoying the last sunny days of the season. Here we are fine. We were so glad to receive your mail through Arnold. May the lord continue blessing you and the entire mosaikschule community. Our parents are busy learning in the afternoon and very good progress is being made in their literacy. As stated in the earlier mail, we had 39 pupils sitting for the national exams. Results wil be out in the next few days as provincial selection was concluded on 02/12/15.
Our sch is involved in literacy & library project,in partnership with ROOM to READ project, funded by Bill Gates foundation. We are number 1 out of 40 schs in the district.All these achievements are as a result of help from partners such as Arnold & Mosaikschule. Both teachers & pupils are excited about this friendship.
Our sch calendar ends today 04/12/15. We begin the 2016 academic year on january 11th.
